Testimonials

- From a guest who is over 55 years old, stays in B&Bs twice a year, typically stays in moderate lodging, and was traveling for an event in August 2008.

"A very pleasant stay!  Heather could not have been a better hostess!  She is welcoming and very accommodating to guests’ needs.  The Inn itself is beautiful and Heather is also very knowledgeable about its history and architectural features.  I would definitely reserve the Garden Room again!"

- From a guest who is 45-55 years old, stays in B&Bs twice a year, typically stays in premium lodging, and was traveling to visit family in August 2008.

"Small town ambience, sophisticated amenities.   I recently spent three nights here while attending a family funeral and, on the basis of the website information, convinced two other family members to join me.  We all agreed that the rooms were exceptionally spacious, with 12’ ceilings, tastefully appointed and clean with top flight linens, modern baths, the breakfasts flawless and the inn keeper especially competent, talented and helpful.  No TV/radio in the rooms, but the wireless internet kept us in touch with the outside world when needed, so this wasn’t a problem.  It is located on the nicest street in town, just outside the commercial district.  I encourage you to discover this place for yourself.  You will not be disappointed but, like us, will look forward to a return visit."

- From a guest who stayed at the B&B in August 2008

"Great place to stay.  This is a great B&B with terrific rooms.  If you are looking for a change from the typical hotel room (and there are many in the area), this is the spot.  The breakfast was delicious."

- From a guest who is over 55 years old, almost never stays at B&Bs, who typically stays in moderate lodging and who was traveling for an event in June 2008

"Fantastic B&B.  We had a wonderful stay at the Iron Corbel Inn.  The rooms were beautiful, the hostess very personable, and the food delicious.  We highly recommend this B&B."

- From a guest who is 26-35 years old, stays at B&Bs once a year, typically stays in premium lodging, and was traveling on business in May 2008

"Quiet and Relaxing.  I was in the area for work and the Iron Corbel Inn was a great place to stay.  The wireless was super fast, the breakfast was tasty, the inn keeper was friendly and knowledgeable, and I had a restful stay even though working.  The neighborhood is great for walking/jogging.  Highly recommend and hope to stay there again."

- From a guest who is 45-55 years old, first time staying at a B&B, typically stays in moderate lodging, was traveling for an event in October 2007

"Stepping back in time.  The pictures on the website don’t do this B&B any justice.  I thought I was walking into a 19th Century movie set.  The care in selecting everything from the dishes to the furniture to the draperies is evident in every step you take through this house.  I told my hostess that I wanted to live there.  The bathroom was cleaner than any major hotel I’ve been in.  I had no problem falling asleep in my comfortable queen bed.  Breakfast was delicious.  I can’t wait to find a reason to go back."

- From a guest who is 45-55 years old, almost never stays at B&Bs, typically stays in moderate lodging, and was traveling for a weekend getaway in September 2007

"This B&B was very tastefully decorated; very beautiful.  The breakfast was very good and on time.  It was clean, beds were comfortable, atmosphere was quiet.  I would recommend this B&B to anyone."

- A traveler from Lexington, Kentucky recommends this B&B

"Lovely area.  The service was great.  The setting was very picturesque.  The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were very modern.  It was very quiet, even with guests who had a dog right across the hall.  The breakfast was amazing.  This place was just as cheap as staying at a hotel, but so much nicer.  Way more relaxing and the breakfast was better than anything you’d find at a hotel."

- From a guest who is 26-35 years old, stays at B&Bs twice a year, typically stays in moderate lodging, and was traveling to visit family in July 2006

"The Best Bananas Foster.  The Inn Keeper makes the absolute best breakfast imaginable!! . . ."
